Todd

Todd Edelen -President

The club’s current Present, has been a member of the St. Charles Bears since 2001.  All 3 of his sons have gone through the club’s football program since each were the age of 5 yrs until advancing to high school programs.  He’s served in the capacity as a coach since 2003, coaching from Ankle Biters to 10 – 12 age group levels.  Todd’s record as a head coach is impressive: 6 President Cup Championship, 9 County Champions, 5 Bi-county Bowl Championships, 1 NAYFC Championship, and 3 time Maryland State finalist.  His belief, “Take care of the little things and the big things will take care of themselves”.

Bridget

Bridget Lover – Secretary

Coach Bridget is the mother of 4 children and employed by the Department of Defense. Her commitment to cheerleading for the St. Charles Bears Youth Organization has extended over 10 years.  She began as a volunteer parent, then advance to Assistant Coach and eventually held the position as Head Coach. She’s led the Pee Wee level through the senior levels.  During her tenure as coach, her teams have won 1st and 2nd place in Charles County Recreational competitions.  Coach Bridget is AYF Cheer, CDC Concussion, and CPR/First Aide Certified. In conjunction to coaching, she has been actively SCB’s Secretary for the past 2 seasons.

 

Treciana

Treciana Brumfield –Treasure

A Branch Manager, Business Development Officer at Old Line Bank. Treciana is responsible for identifying and cultivating new commercial clients. She works closely with existing clients  fulfill their banking needs and establishes new long term banking relationships. Treciana attended Southeastern Louisiana University. She has over 17 years in the banking industry. She is very active in the community and is a current member of the Board of Directors, serving as the treasurer for the Charles County Children’s Aid Society, a member of the Charles County Zonta Club, a member of the Charles County Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member serving as the treasurer of the St. Charles Bears Youth Organization.

Jujuan

Jujuan T. Campbell Washington – Cheer Director

Hometown is Landover, MD.  St Charles Bears Experience: Director/Coordinator active member since 2005.  Significant achievements: 4 First Place out of county wins, 4 First Place out of State wins, and 7 first Place Charles County’s Cheer Competition wins.  She’s the mother of three, two are St. Charles Bears Alumni.  Her son is an active college football player, her oldest daughter cheers for her high school, while her youngest daughter currently cheers for SCB.  Her belief, “Our youth is the future who looks for positive and strength in their coaches”, “we are strong leaders in their eyes and I will continue to be a positive force for our boys and girls…”

Timothy Molock – Director of Operations

An active service member of 26 years, Coached Mo has been actively involved with the St Charles Bears for 9 years.  He enjoys being an involved father and role-model within his community.  The St Charles Bears gave him his first opportunity to coach youth football, he’s played a big part in numerous team Championship level accomplishments as an assistant.  His biggest joy comes from being a mentor to the youth; both boys and girls, and guide to adults in need of advice.  Coach Mo’s largest SCB contribution has been teaming with other to craft various new ideas, new look, and achieving new partners in the community.  He’s a product of his own slogan “Don’t talk about it, be about it!” Because to him it’s not what you say but what you do that matters most.

 

James

James Brent – Co Director of Operations

Coach Jimmy has been involved with the St. Charles Bears since the summer of 2008. At that time, he joined the 85lb team as an assistant coach. After spending several years as an assistant, he was voted in as a head coach of the 7-9jr team in 2012. He has been serving as a head coach ever since. Coach now serves as Co-Director of Operations for the Club.  Coach Jimmy played football for Eleanor Roosevelt High School where he was named Captain his senior year. He went on to play for Montgomery Junior College. After Montgomery college coach joined the US Navy where he proudly served 4 years’ sea duty on 2 naval ships. In 1992 he was awarded a metal for serving in the gulf region during Operation desert shield. Coach applies his past experience in relating to his players. He teaches his players the importance of discipline and teamwork. He believes these lessons transcend beyond the field of play.  His prayer is that he be a positive influence to the youth now and after they move on from the club.
